Dallas Tile Contractor

Being a Dallas tile contractor since 1952, Elite Stone Works only assigns a setter and helper team with many years of experience. It takes a special sense of design to understand the pattern and determine each critical placement of effort. Once all the chalk lines have been drawn and the floor has been cleared, the thin set adhesive can be mixed. For larger projects, an area on the property will need to be used for the mixing tub. However on most projects, we only need to mix the thin set in buckets.

Now that we have the fresh adhesive in our workspace, we need to bring in our tools and some tile pieces to begin with. The setter will probably set a full section first. The helper is usually sent to make the first few cut pieces. The helpers job is critically important at this stage. The setter needs to be kept in full stock of tile and thin set along with having the cut pieces at the right times. If one of the cuts are not perfect, then it has to be re-cut. There is no room for a mistake if you call yourself a Dallas tile contractor.

As the tiles are set the work area is kept as clean as possible while maintaining progress too. The helper or setter may need to use the wet saw repeatedly to get all cuts ready for use. This machine does create a bit of noise during use and is an essential part of the process. The wet saw allows the stone to be cut without breaking.

Many times the material can be damages if not treated carefully during the cutting process. If too much material is wasted, the job may not be able to be completed on time. Our teams know how to the get the right measurements and sizes the first time. That just comes with doing a lot of custom installations as a Dallas tile contractor.
